Parish Mass Choir:

Rehearses Wednesday at 7 PM in the church, following the 6 PM Latin Mass.  Purpose:  to prepare the music used for weekend and Feast Day Masses.  This choir is open to students, too, so if interested, please contact the Director of Sacred Music.

Funeral Mass Choir:

Purpose:  to help those who grieve by singing for Funeral Masses.  The ability to be available during the day and upon short notice is necessary with each person singing when they are available.  Please contact the Director of Music if you are interested in joining this group.

Psalmists:

From the beginnings of Judeo-Christian worship through the present day, psalmists proclaimed the Word of God and helped facilitate the prayer of the people through song. This ancillary group of musicians takes its membership from the Apostolate of Sacred Music at St. Catherine of Siena.  An audition and regular participation in a parish choir is necessary for consideration into membership.

Instrumentalists:

Instrumentalists from our parish enliven and beautify worship at St. Catherine of Siena by lending their talents to play at the various masses and services. Latin Mass Schola:

Our parish is now celebrating the Latin Mass, Mass in the Extraordinary Form, on Wednesday at 6 PM.  The group which leads the music for this mass is open to those who would like to learn more about singing sacred chant and polyphony.  New members are needed so if you are interested in taking part, please contact Brenda Rebilas at (919) 570-0070 ext. 107 or at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Children's Choir:

The Parish Children's Choir is open to all elementary aged students of our parish.  Rehearsals are on Sunday from 4:15 - 5:15 PM three Sundays a month, following our JYM (Junior Youth Ministry) calendar.  Please see the Children's Choir section for more details.
